Our Highlighting Method

Highlight important passages from a book/blog etc.
For books

• The preferred way is physical books. You can write on the margins if you want to add additional info, or use sticky notes.
• When reading, place a slash in the corner of any page containing relevant information. Underline crucial sentences or names that stand out. Avoid excessive commentary—trust your brain to recall why a section was marked
• If a passage is particularly valuable, place a star next to it. Additionally, put a star in the corner of the page for easy identification.
• For structured arguments (e.g., “Three reasons why X”), number each point.
• For Digital Books on a tablet: do digital annotations in a similar way

For blogs

• Highlight and save to Obsidian. But don't bookmark too often.
